- Her family has practiced magic for manyyyy years, it’s innate and natural to her as breathing.
- Started going through Mom’s old journals and found [???], weird things that suddenly don’t add up to what she was told when she was younger
- When she confronts her dad about it, he gets cagey, and makes Harper promise not to go digging around and dragging up the past
